From Yale math professor to film producer to actor to entrepreneur, I've built and rebuilt my life more times than most people change their habits. Every pivot taught me the same thing: to thrive through change you don't need the best plan - the magic is in knowing exactly who you are, so adapting to a new situation cannot uproot you.
